Elder Scrolls Online Homestead DLC has finally gotten a release date for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Players will be able to build unique homes suited for their characters on the MMORPG come February. There will be thousands of new items to decorate the houses with and other updates.
Elder Scrolls Online Homestead DLC Coming On PC Two Weeks Early
Bethesda formally announced the Homestead DLC to be launching on Elder Scrolls Online PC on Feb. 6, a full two weeks before it releases on PS4 and Xbox One. The consoles will get it on a Tuesday on Feb. 21, when players will move in to 39 “uniquely-themed homes” in Tamriel, according to the developers’ post in the official forums.
There should be over 2,000 home items arriving plus the Furnishing Crafting option. The Homestead DLC will also bring four new Motifs and Master Crafting Writs. Players can also expect a PvP itemization update and more balanced classes and skills.
Players Need To Complete A Quest Before Owning A Home In Tamriel
Players need not worry; they just have to complete a tutorial quest in the Elder Scrolls Online Homestead DLC before they can buy a home, as per TrueAchievements. After which, they will be given a “modest” home, which is really just a room at the local inn.
The houses that the Homestead DLC will bring are inspired by the races in the Elder Scrolls Online. As can be seen in the trailer, there are homes for the Khajit, the Imprerial and more. These homes can be purchased by saving up in-game gold or by spending some Crowns, which can be bought using real money.
Much like in The Sims series, players will be able to buy an empty house that they can decorate themselves or a fully-furnished home by the game’s interior designers. For more insight on what homes look like, fans can watch the Elder Scrolls Online Homestead trailer below.
